Recently, we had the privilege of partnering with Ephesus Road Elementary School in Chapel Hill to revitalize their school sign and basketball court, and we couldn’t be more proud of the results.

A School at the Heart of the Community

Ephesus Elementary isn’t just a school—it’s a cornerstone of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community. Every day, it welcomes hundreds of students and families, playing a vital role in education and neighborhood life. So when the opportunity came up to help improve their campus, we jumped at the chance.

We know the power of first impressions. The school’s sign is more than just a nameplate—it’s the first thing people see when they arrive. It sets the tone for the warm, welcoming environment that Ephesus is known for. Similarly, the basketball court is a hub of activity, fun, and connection for students during and after school.

Adding Color, Energy, and Durability

Our team took great care in restoring and repainting the school sign, choosing bold, vibrant colors that reflect the school’s lively energy. The new look brings a sense of pride to the campus and makes a cheerful statement to everyone who visits.

The basketball court presented a different challenge. Outdoor spaces like this face constant exposure to the elements, so durability and safety were top priorities. We carefully prepped the surface, applied weather-resistant coatings, and repainted the lines with high-contrast, long-lasting paint. The result is a clean, professional-looking court that’s ready for years of games, practices, and recess fun.
